Jessica is a licensed and registered occupational therapist. She is originally from Prattville, AL and moved to Birmingham in 2011 to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham. There she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management and a Master’s of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. She has received training in the Sensory Motor Approach to Feeding, Interoception Awareness, and Integrated Listening System. Jessica is also a part of the Trauma Team at Child’sPlay, which aims to accommodate the unique needs of children with traumatic backgrounds. Jessica believes that play is the means by which children learn, grow, and heal. Therefore, she is passionate about utilizing play to help children thrive in all areas of life. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her pets.
