Chanlynn was born in the US but grew up in Shanghai, China.  She moved back in 2015 to attend Boston College, where she majored in applied psychology and human development and minored in linguistics and sociology.  She completed her Master’s program in speech-language pathology at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston.  Chanlynn’s clinical experience includes private practice, outpatient cognitive rehabilitation, and middle school.  She centers cultural humility in her practice, and believes that her role as an SLP is to be a listener and an advocate.
